Trefoil Group’s entry into Ad 2’s second annual “WIN in the New Year” contest took home top honors for its Interactive Holiday Card by demonstrating the most creative holiday spirit, edging out entries from marketing and communications agencies throughout the region.
The firm’s creative team designed the web-based greeting – featuring the entire staff in animated GIF picture frames, with popups offering holiday-related nuggets about each team member – as a lighthearted way for clients and friends to get to know the agency’s people.
“This year, we really wanted to put the personalities of our staff out front,” said Trefoil Group president Andy Narrai. “So we leveraged our digital design capabilities to create something fun that was both expressive and interactive.”
Trefoil Group web developer Chelsea Tredupp led the concept, design and execution of project joined by copy chief Tom Groff, senior art director Nick Abadie, digital marketing manager Vince Halaska and other team members.
Ad 2 is a national organization and an affiliate of the American Advertising Federation dedicated to serving young professionals in the advertising and marketing fields. The Ad 2 Milwaukee chapter frequently hosts events, like the Win in the New Year contest, to educate and connect the Milwaukee’s advertising and marketing professionals.
