Milwaukee, WI September 27, 2011— Trefoil Group, a strategic marketing communications firm, has become the first Milwaukee-area agency to endorse the Institute for Advertising Ethics’ (IAE) newly established set of industry principles and practices.

The “Principles and Practices for Advertising” aim to inspire all industry professionals to practice the highest personal and professional ethics in advertising, public relations and marketing communications. The document includes extensive commentary from industry veterans to help define and illustrate the significance of the eight principles, which promote truth, transparency and fairness in all marketing activities.

The Institute for Advertising Ethics is administered by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), in partnership with the Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute (RJI) and the Missouri School of Journalism.
