Milwaukee, WI February 8th, 2012— Andy Narrai, chief operating officer for Trefoil Group, a strategic marketing communications firm, was appointed to the Institute for Advertising Ethics (IAE) Advisory Council during the American Advertising Federation’s recent Board of Directors meeting held in San Francisco.

The IAE is guided by an independent Advisory Council under the leadership of Executive Director Wally Snyder, AAF president emeritus. “The IAE is proud to have Andy join our council to helps shape and direct future initiatives and programs led by the institute,” said Snyder.

Recently, the council developed the “Principles and Practices for Advertising,” which supports its purpose to inspire all industry professionals to practice the highest personal and professional ethics in advertising, public relations and marketing communications. The document includes extensive commentary from industry veterans to help define and illustrate the significance of the eight principles, which promote truth, transparency and fairness in all marketing activities.

“I’m happy to join the council on behalf of Trefoil Group,” stated Narrai. “As a whole, our agency believes in the necessity and importance of ethics in all business practices, and my role with the council further promotes that belief.”

The Institute for Advertising Ethics is administered by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), in partnership with the Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute (RJI) and the Missouri School of Journalism
