Following the 2020 acquisitions of Donnelly Custom Manufacturing and Built Rite-Reliance and LSR Engineering, Beacon Manufacturing Group turned to Trefoil Group to integrate, brand and launch its new companies. Establishing marketing as a primary driver for accelerating growth, we shaped program goals around increasing revenue, profit and exit multiples.
With the introduction of the medical business slated for a national tradeshow in just 75 days, time was of the essence.
To build enterprise value for Beacon Manufacturing Group while driving transactions at the business unit level, an endorsed branding hierarchy connected the businesses through the Beacon name. A brand platform integrated Beacon Manufacturing Group with its two businesses: Beacon MedTech Solutions (formerly Built Rite-Reliance & LSR) and Beacon Engineered Solutions (formerly Donnelly Custom Manufacturing). Messaging and visual design created a framework for the new brand and all communications.
First introduced to employees via Town Hall events and in-plant message boards, the new names and brands were then rolled out to customers and other key stakeholders, as well as to audiences set to attend the national medical tradeshow.
Serving as Beacon Manufacturing Group’s marketing arm, Trefoil’s multichannel launch included websites, PR and social media, digital and tradeshow promotions, as well as direct stakeholder communications. As the program evolves, our work is expanding to drive performance in new and measurable ways.
