Changing the Landscape

Startup outdoor power equipment (OPE) manufacturer and challenger brand YARDMAX® needed to launch in North America and instantly capture market share in a competitive, consumer environment. With a logo, 13 products, and a launch date, it was looking to make a splash in the industry while positioning itself for substantial market growth for years to come.

Introducing YARDMAX as a legitimate contender in a competitive landscape required an integrated, cohesive strategy across a range of marketing communications. Trefoil Group began by building an interim landing page that provided support information for interested dealers, buyers and consumers. Concurrently, advertising and PR campaigns built momentum in the nine months leading up to the initial product launch at the National Hardware Show (NHS) in Las Vegas.
